"I saw three of these dusters a short time ago, they were waiting for a train..Inside the dusters, there were three men."
"So?"
"Inside the men, there were three bullets."

Plays: Quite literally everything, ever.
Just discovered the gaming network here, and since am suffering somewhat from Xbox Live withdrawal symptoms I'm definitely going to get involved with this community somehow (although not, apparently, the IRC network).
I adore pretty much everything ever, multiplayer wise (and singleplayer wise, to be honest). If you have a game you really want to play but no one to play with then give me a shout, although I might not be able to handle the really beefy new shooters like Quake 4.

GAMES
Here is a list of all the multiplayer games which I have, and a bit of guff about each which you can skip at will. If you feel like organising a game of any of them message me.
PC
Counter Strike: Source
- Was in a modestly sucessful clan back in the day, and also mapped for the community. Source is a genuinely decent conversion but it lacks the clunky originality of the first mod. Always up for some office or dust2.
Civilization IV
- Can't wait for this. LAN games aplenty, hopefully.
C&C: Red Alert 2
- Not quite the best iteration of the series but still a riot in netplay. Works well on the LAN.
Dungeon Keeper
Possibly still holder of the title of my 'best LAN experience ever', despite the fact that I last played it 1998 and *snip* UPDATE: I have sucessfully got Dungeon Keeper working over the LAN and it rocked as much as I could remember. It is abandonware/freeware now so I can legally set you up with copies if you're interested; if you've never played this game you really need to. Also happens to be my second favourite game ever!
Grand Theft Auto 2
- Which has a fantastic LAN mode, it's a bit of a hassle to set up but you can download it for free from Rockstar - or I can share it over the LAN if anyone wants it.
Locomotion
- This is Chris Sawyer's belated half-sequel to the classic Transport Tycoon. I can't remember if it has a multiplayer mode (possibly not) but I'm sticking it up here in case it does and anyone wants to give it a go.
Operation Flashpoint
- .is hilarious fun in paintball mode, or playing tag with fighter jets and tractors. Clunky and ugly as sin but still great.
Quake
either.. Quake classic and GL Quake (first 3D accelerated version) with bots, or Tenebrae (HiRes mod), and (mostly) FuhQuake (current most popular online version). PM for details/downloads (Quake is freeware). I'm a quaker through and through; the grand-daddy of all multiplayer games, this has stolen more hours off me than all other multiplayer games, except perhaps..
Quake 3: Arena
- .which is still hands down the purest online FPS and best skill-based shooter.
Return to Castle Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory
- If there are any other wolfy enthusiasts out there we HAVE to get some kind of server/game going! Schnell. Etc.
Star Wars: Jedi Knight II - Jedi Outcast
- Bespin, city streets. Nuff said. Although I haven't played this for ages and I *will* get my ass handed to me.
Star Wars: (Jedi Knight III) Jedi Academy
- Slicker than the previous title and my prefered method of lightsabre based shennanigans.
Total Anihilation
- Never was an expert at this but have enjoyed some games of it recently and may well play it some more.
Worms World Party
- Hell yes.
XBOX
Halo & Halo 2
- If anyone wants to sort out getting some people together from some lan play with either of these, message me - especially for Halo 2.
Project Gotham Racing II
- If anyone is really, seriously excellent at this game and fancies ripping around any of the tracks for a hour or so then hit me up on MSN.
Serious Sam [1]
- I'm almost sure this has a link mode, so if somehow we managed to arrange two TVs in the same room, and related amounts of bodies, then the multiplayer would be awesome. I think it has four-way on one screen too.
Time Splitters 2
- The controls absolutely still suck beyond all definition (after coming back to it with a years break) but it's the only place to get monkeys with rocket launchers and fire breathing dinosaurs. And blessed, blessed remote mines.
MISC
Emulation
- NES, SNES, N64 - am up for any kind of retro madness, especially network Mario Kart 64/Goldeneye.
